Repairs the commonly broken or missing single wire connector that runs along the alternator wire. Known as the exciter wire. Found on the front of the engine near the starter motor. Critical for charging the battery in your Mk3 Volkswagen.

(1) connector, (1) seal and (1) terminal is included in this listing. Brand new condition. The second photo shows a missing connector as compared to one that is still present.
A "W" style crimp tool is highly recommended to ensure a proper connection. There are 2 crimp areas on each terminal. One is for crimping to the copper wire itself to complete the connection, and the other is to be crimped around the wire insulation for strain relief.
